Principal Engineer & Delivery Manager

Dan has over 15 years’ experience working as a Civil Engineer in the water industry. He has worked on a significant range of civil engineering and environmental projects and has experience in the following disciplines;

• Civil Engineering Construction Site Supervision, Application of CDM (2015) – Principal Designer & Principal Contractor roles

• Stormwater/Rainwater Management systems; conception, detail design & implementation

• Flood Risk Management; including assessment and design of alleviation/mitigation measures & SuDS

• Rainwater Harvesting Systems; design, installation, operation, maintenance and monitoring

• Sewerage and Sewage Treatment system; planning, detailed design and construction

• Design of Structures in the riverine and coastal environments including Sea Defences, Scour Protection, Fish Passes & Gabion systems

• Hydraulic Design, Assessment & Modelling

• Cost / Programme & Contract Management under range of contract suites

• Detailed Condition Surveys & reporting

John Tipping

Supervisor & Project Management

John has significant experience as a traditional building contractor; he has brought these skills to the field of Rainwater Harvesting and Innovative Sustainable Drainage.

He has worked with South West Water, Anglian Water and Severn Trent Water in a innovation team to implement smart real-time rainwater systems to monitor and manage assets.

Formally trained in the Arts, John is able to bring a vision and flair to traditional engineering solutions.

• Project management for SuDS Stormwater/Rainwater Management systems; conception, detail design & implementation

• Build and design for AgriTech

• Extensive experience in the field of Stormwater Management and Rainwater Harvesting System Installations
